Since 1994, I've worked in English Language Teaching as an author, a consultant, a public speaker, an editor, an examiner, a teacher trainer, a teacher, a columnist and even an illustrator!

I've written a number of multi-level courses for international markets, with a particular focus on preparing teenagers for exams and on teaching adults. I've travelled to over 40 countries to meet teachers, administrators and government officials, learn about their teaching situations and some of the challenges they face, and share ideas on teaching English. I've also broadcast to several more countries online through webinars, as well as regularly appearing at national and international conferences.

I'm passionate about producing courses that work alongside teachers to give their students the skills they need to achieve their social, academic and career goals.
